Rough running ECHOS

I have an issue with 3echo handhelds. An SRM 280 and 225 and a Pe 225. They run awesome at the first start of the day and run awesome through the first yard, but after they have been shut down for 20 minutes they crank hard and run like crap and want to cut off when ever then are given any gas. The only thing Inhave changed is I switched to Amsoil 2 stroke 80:1 mix and put an Amsoil ethanol treatment in the gas. Would these changes cause this? Only my ECHOS are affected my husvaranas have not been affected....

Start with adjusting the carb in the summer I know the 280 has two adjustment jets so that one ought to be easy to dial in after you find the jet screws under the plastic plugs. Don't mess with different oils and addatives when you are having trouble simply go get the red armour and use it for awhile.

Actually Joe, that stuffs ok too. But their premier oil is http://www.redarmoroil.com/

Haven't run the red armor enough to comment really. The old school power blend is pretty good stuff though.

I wasn't having trouble with the handhelds. I have an Amsoil dealer at my job and he was telling me how great all this stuff is blah blah blah. So I said I would try it. I bought 2stroke oil because I was out. I also bought a fuel additive that fights ethanol because my mower is having problems from the ethanol. I know everything got mixed correctly but I am going to switch back to what I had once I run through all of this

Been running Amsoil Sabre Professional at 100:1 in my Echos for several years and don't have any problems. I doubt the Amsoil is your problem of course I've never used the Quickshot.
