Double the price of what you would normally estimate the job. They're turning you down rather than the other way around.

If it is work you do not want

Step 1- Overbid it to where your profit margin is so high you now would love to visit the site & perform a service.

Step 2- If they ask why your price so high tell them because you are not in business to match prices but in business to provide best service and if you are going to pick your lawn/landscape company on price alone maybe we are not the right company for you.

Id quit advertising, then tell any calls you will drive by and call them back if you can fit it into your schedule.

I think Ive turned down more work this year than work I actually has my first year.

upsell. sell them on getting rid of the old crap and getting new grass.

I did a cleanup for a guy with 40 sq yards of weeds. sold him on new sod (then re did the sod at my cost) now he is a weekly 10 minute 25 dollar customer.

I understand all the upselling, but the OP says hes "full". Might be a chance to sell some winter work.

The thing is estmates can kill a lot time as well as gas.

Pre qualify better. There's no problem asking people over the phone how big their gate is, how many weeds they have, and what they paid the last guy. Then you don't have to waste a trip or turn down a crap yard in person
