Deck Spindle Bearings

I have a 2006 Super Z with the 72" XR7 Deck. I recently replaced the spindle bearings, using Fafnir RA100RR bearings. I didn't notice it before replacing the bearings but in looking at the bearings, the side of the bearing that does NOT protrude has an inner race that looks to have an even wall thickness all around where the protruding side of the bearing has a very uneven wall thickness, varying from .085" to .155" This makes the bearing's inner race on one side to look 'out of round', but that is only on the outside of the inner race, not in the center of the inner race. One could say that it was 'cam shaped'.

Is there anything about the installation of this bearing on the spindles that needs to be addressed?

The cam look to the bearing is for a locking collar when used elsewhere.

What Brian said.

Just make sure the protruding end faces out.
