Water draining out of bottom head of zone

It's not the valve. I'm goin to push the water up hill like I've done before to take care of the problem.

The manager at Atlantic irrigation said I am the only one that buys blank nozzled 5000's everyone else gets pre nozzled and never changes any of them. I had the same feeling as you.

If the head drained free of water with the meter cut off (after 15 minutes as you said), yet then restarted bleeding when you opened the meter back up... Then it's 100%, without question, the valve. Im pretty sure this has been pointed out enough, but take it for what it's worth.

Only a complete fool would buy pre-nozzled heads, how would you know a 90 from a 180 to a 360 in the same zone?

I have installers around me that put in a certainn nozzle size in regardless. usually PGP. One guy likes to use the #9 and nozzle it for 25 gpm+ when there is only maybe 15 available. Then he does the choke down splatter to try and spread the pattern out.
