GPS units

For those of you that use GPS units can you tell me how the units themselves have held up for you along with the company you use? I have a number of units from Advance Tracking and they have not held up well at all. I constantly have to send them in for repairs. Thanks.

If you are just trying to get from place to place, get a smart phone and an Otterbox. Google maps is great and you can use the phone camera for good pictures now.

If you are trying to keep tabs on fleet vehicles, then I can't help you there.

I used Advanced Tracking at a prior large company I worked for. I was the manager over the Assests nation wide. I found advanced tracking a lot easier to deal with and the units held up MUCH better than other units I had used. Of course I had roughly 120 units going. It helped me keep up with mantinence issues and oil changes so I out them on every single thing I could. They are my first choice. I sent several for repair but not much.
