Dynascape Manage 360?

I have been looking around for software to keep track of leads, jobs, etc. And I thought I found the perfect software until I saw the price....

"Currently, DS|Manage360 comes in (3) modules:

1.**** Sales & Estimating - $5,000 + $45/mth

2.**** Job Management - $3,000 + $45/mth

3.**** QuickBooks Integration - $1,000"

The $45/month is the minimum fee based on annual sales, which is reasonable considering that it is web-based software and includes updates; but $9k for everything?! Seriously?...

Looks like I will stick to using quickbooks and google calendar for the foreseeable future.

We've used Dynascape design for a long time. I made the mistake of upgrading about a year or so ago and got suckered into the $45 per month scam. I see no useful benefit to paying another monthly fee for a piece of software that I paid $2000 for. I'm in the process of learning AutoCad and once I'm proficient at it I will kick Dynascape to the curb unless they re-think the monthly fee.

You can do all of your sales and estimating with some carefully built spreadsheets (ask DVS about this) and there are other job management packages that can be had for a lot less money if you really think that you need it. I've never seen any need to integrate anything into Quickbooks. Once you have Quickbooks all set up properly it's pretty fast and easy to run invoices, manage inventory, pay your bills etc.

We purchased Manage 360 two years ago. It was one of the top three best investments in our company. Well worth every penny and then more. I'd say the perfect time to implement something like this is when your sales are $500k in Design/Build.

The monthly fees are worth it because they are constantly making improvements to the program. It would either be that or you'd have to buy a new version every year like Microsoft Office, QB, etc. Pick your poison. I'd sooner have updates every month.

Add to that its in the cloud so you can access it wherever you are via a laptop, ipad, or iphone.

I talk more about this program in our main thread.
"Earth, Turf, & Wood, Inc. is a high-end residential landscape & hardscape company that offers superior employment experiences for employees, exceptional opportunities for our architects, a premium service to our customers and value to the community through service and stewardship. We attempt to honor God in all we do by encouraging teamwork, pursuing excellence passionately, serving those who lead, and demonstrating stewardship of resources."
