Riggle

Rodeo is an Aquatic Herbicide, but it doesn't control Poison Ivy at standard label rate.

Grass,
I am with you on this one.
My license does not include, right of way, ditch and other such sites.
I guess if it were more lucrative............I would get into the game.

Just to clarify, its not the actual bank its flat area up,to the bank and the bank is only about a foot tall. The ivy is not in any, water as the river is quite low due to drought.

DLCS,
Sound good but most labels will restrict certain applications.
This was a topic of discussion a few weeks ago from another forum member.
You will need to use precise caution, follow any label strictly, and refrain from runoff that could empty into that stream or whatever it is.
most of the products that will kill ivy materials is ester types and has potential for offsite contamination.

In addition to an applicator's license, an NPDES permit is also required. You are applying near a public waterway.

READ AND UNDERSTAND THE LABEL BEFORE YOU USE ANY PESTICIDE

Common Sense might tell you any Herbicide applied to Poison Ivy on a River Bank is subject to draining into the River.

Read the ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARD Section of both herbicides you are recommending. Both are HAZARDOUS to OUR WATER SUPPLY.
