That whole setup is just downright scary! Not crazy about the quick couplers being way up in the air like that either. I would have just opened up one of those panels, said nope, aint happenin, close her up and back away...

Sadly it is a site I "acquired" when I was brought in as a new manager / fixer for a failing irrigation department. Have been working to get all the hack work and workers taken care of this year and have made a ton of progress. This site is next.

After one gets a few years of experience under their belt, they can open an enclosure and see how hacked the rest of the system is. That is the time to show the client the hackness, re-wire the clocks and call the electricians.

That is a work in progress right now. 3 pump stations down to replace on this site and the hack work will, at least, start to come around (also nothing is grounded here at all... I was scared when I first saw this place and even more scared now).

Sadly they did not set enough in their budget this year to resolve all the issues (and the pictures only show less than half the complex) but they will be adding more $$$ for next year per our meeting today to "resolve" these issues.

Don't worry, updated pictures will follow of the dehacking...
