How many hours did the 48 have?, I have both 36 and a 48 and only if I had alot of gates would I only have a 36. I like the way on a bigger than 36 the deck comes out over the side, makes the machine trim better and not leave grass patches behind when you turn around.

I just got a Lesco hydro 36 last season with velkie and only 150 hours for 1150. I was real happy too, usually on a 36 I only go belt but the deal was right and I can do some things with it I could not do with my belt 36.

Anything bigger than 36 a hydro is worth the extra coin.

For my needs the 36 will be fine for me I really just want to keep costs low as possible. Also both wheels have a slight gap on the axle it's not a wobble but it slides left to right along the axle if that makes since about 1/8 inch. I took the wheels off everything looked good so I'm thinking its made to have a slight gap.

There going to have a little play, both the 48 and 36 look like really good deals.
