Minnesota Lawn Care

Just wondering how everyone is doing with the drought we are having. This season should lead to a early fall clean up..

Everything is pretty dry, that's for sure. We are still scheduling a mid-October clean-up due to being so far behind on applicating. Just getting ready to start round 4 of fert and final broadleaf. Looking forward to the rapid cool down at the end of the week, though.

What a wild ride of a season. Record spring rainfall. Now back into deep drought again. Lucky we all don't have peptic ulcers.

Non irrigated mowing is basically out the window at this point. Lawns are fried. Thats a big hit on two good mowing months in Sept and Oct. Applications are ground to a halt on non irrigated/dormant lawns as it is just not wise to treat these lawns right now. Need a damn good rain or 3. Hope you all get one.

I agree with the snow and leaf removal!

This week we mowed about 90% of the properties, after taking 2-3 weeks off on some.

Good news finally picked up a very nice used leaf loader, looking at a resi plow truck tomorrow and getting things squared for a wideout, tornado salter and snow bucket.

We do work in mainly bloomington area for cleanups and plowing if anyone has someone looking for services outside their area. I know we'll be looking for a someone to pickup snow removal for a couple of our edina customers
