couple basic ?s
-does it have front brakes or trans brake?
-does it have rear brakes and is it cable or foot operated?
-comes with a pressure reg and guage?

and ?s for those who use one
-any common problems or design flaws you would share?
-is the side deflector usefull or useless?
-how hard is to adjust and achieve an even left-right spread pattern
-how tipsy is this unit loaded on a slope? (ie the catapult effect of older pg's)

I can tell you after looking at a show model, there is a pressure gauge.

brakes are on the rear and are foot operated
yes it has a regulator and guage
Spread pattern is easy to adjust and set
the side deflector is great and easy to use
holds hills really well it can sometimes be tricky turning with a full load on hills the tires tend to want to spin but i think this is true of most ride ons

The only thing I don't like about ours is there is no parking brake but they are supposedly adding one to new units

We have two of them and will definately be buying a third this winter......we added the spray want attachment and the spray bar which i highly recommend both

By 'spray bar', do you mean a multi nozzle bar on the front of the unit?
If so, is that supplied by GL, or is it after market?
Most importantly, how is the coverage with that bar? Better than single nozzle Floodjet coverage? What is the width?

We currently have 6 Ground Logic units. Will be purchasing 3 new units this winter (will have 2 units for sale if anyone is looking for a good, well maintained used machine).

Overall these machines are doing a great job for us. We have found a few "weak" areas in the machine but Brice has been great to work with. We truely test these machines as we go over many acres per day per machine. The new machines with updates is going to take care of many of the minor issues we have been dealing with.

We update our machines every 2 years to reduce the minor maintenance costs and down time...but they can last along time when taken care of.

I would give the machine a 9 out of 10 overall. It is a great machine for the money and our guys love them.

Thanks for the info, lack of a front / trans brake may be a deal breaker for me, maybe they have it in the works il call, parking brake is a must so that's good if they are adding one . How about the agitator in hopper? The one on the zspray I had lasted about a day and was useless, is there a better one in these new ones?

Does anyone use the multi nozzle spray bar for the Ground Logic? Rodney does any of your units have this? If so is it better control then the single nozzle? The spray bar is an option runs about $250.00

Spray bar does come from ground logic....i think its coverage is 7 feet to match the spread width ill have to check....I like the spray bar because you can see the spray from the machine so you know if there is a clog and how close you are to edges

The hopper does have an agitator we have not had any issues with ours

Oh and also the spray bar comes with low drift nozzles and helps protect from drift/wind which is a plus

Does the spray bar run at the same pressure as the single nozzle or does it run at a higher pressure?
