Address LED

I'm not usually a fan of these offshoot LED products. But this is one that I actually like. I could see a lot of people using/purchasing this. I know it's a problem at my house - seeing our house number when it's dark out. I could light up my numbers with an accent light. But I almost think this is a more attractive way to go. Have you guys seen this?

Seems to have a nice warm color temperature, fits right in with any existing 12v system. Seems like it would be a nice add-on. One of the more innovative products I've seen in a while. I think homeowners and business owners would like this.

Your thoughts?

Personally, I like this product. I think it would look very nice on a block mailbox kit or attached to a garage. I don't think it would look nice at a front entrance into a residence.

Nice concept but i think it is a little bit commercial looking. It has excellent utility but would not fit well in a high-end neighborhood. In Tampa, the typical outdoor lighting clients have large custom-made mailbox enclosures. illuminating the mailbox with a standard up light does the trick.

I remember this kind of product from way back when. I think I had gotten one as a sample that had the number assembly mounted on top of the mail box.

Recently, I found a cheap one at Harbor Freight in Fl... that I used at my mom's house. It is solar powered and does the trick... makes the house easy to locate in the dark...

Looks ok,but for how long will it work. There is far too much product being made by companies that know nothing about LED lighting. Unless it comes from a ' big name' and has a warranty and full spec's, I would stay away. The market is choked full with failing and failed LED products.

I don't disagree with most of that. It just looks nice, though, looks well built and solves a problem that I know at least I've had at night time. I ordered one for my house, just because I like the looks of it and want to see how it works out.
