I originally quoted the PO lights from FX for this project, and the homeowner balked at the price a bit since he has this place listed for sale. He has another penthouse condo further in town he lives in that I will be doing soon. To get the price point down a bit, I found these through AQL online. They are stainless, and are rated for underwater use. They did come with a flat lense, but I opted for the domed glass to shed the rainwater. They are pretty well out of the traffic patterns, so tripping isn't going to be a major issue. The only thing I would like to have added was some hexcell louvers (I had just run out from my last installation and need to order more.) The glare with the LED's, is actually quite a bit less than what I had expected them to be, but the louver would still be a good idea. I am heading over end of next week to add a couple things, so I will probably drop those in while I am there.

Beautiful! Like the balconies rail shadows. Are you using Illumicare's 4000k LED on the fur's? How far away is the fixture too?

Hi Jana,

No, they are 2700k LED's on the spruce. For some reason, the color is muted and cold whenever I post photos on lawnsite. Not sure what happens to the JPEG file when they are reducing the size for the forum, but it destroys the richness and true color of the photos that are posted. They almost look washed out.

Absolutely beautiful! Exceptional designs and photos!

I do wish, however, that you could make the watermark less obtrusive. I would re-size it to 1/3 current size and position it to the lower right corner. Keep in mind that your designs are only fully appreciated when the viewer can inject him(her)self into the lighting scene and experience the natural visual flow and subtle transitions. A huge watermark dead center interferes with both. IMO.

Thanks Steve, I appreciate the kind comments and also the advice on the watermark. I have had to make it large and centralized because I have been finding my photos on various websites from lighting, electrical and landscape contractors who have cropped out the lower corners where I traditionally place my logo and have been using them as their own work. I apologize for it interfering with the photo. Just trying to keep it from being taken and used inappropriately. I could probably make it smaller though.

On a side note: I have noticed how lawnsite's image processors drastically reduce image quality when uploaded. I guess they have to do this to make the page load faster.
