I know I am a little late on this post.... But what do you mean by removing the battery from the clock and 'bumping' the stations?

Thanks

I removed the 9 vlt battery from the controller and touched the common wire and the zone wire to the posts and actuated the solenoids. Sometimes 1 battery will work, other times 2 or even 3 batteries connected in series are required.
