I think its safe to assume that the only outcome you could hope to achieve by adding any metal powder or fragments to the engine oil ....would be to destroy the engine...
If perhaps you wanted to destroy an engine to get a replacement under warranty....it wouldn't be wise to contaminate the engine with iron powder...as the majority of the engine components are made from aluminum...
Powdered aluminum would prolly fool even the most seasoned engine technician...
Where as iron powder would stick out like sugar in gasoline....

Its the last day of summer....
Hint....
The sparkplugs were modified to...

1)....pick up radio stations in Biloxi....
2)...burn water without fouling...
3)....prevent catching the engine on fire when clearing a flooded engine...
4)...they are high frequency WaterMagnets...
5)...make people scratch their heads trying to figger out what they're for...

So I can absolutely tell ya with confidence that the correct answer to the question is...................#6

The correct answer is...#3....
Back in the day when I ran my own mowershop...I used to get a lot of flooded mowers come in...
I got tired of catching mowers on fire while spinning the engine with the sparkplugs out...
