In Ga, at least northern Ga you have got to put it down in August/September. According to the label, you can wait till mid October if you are using Specticle but other than that, it if you wait past sept 15th with Prodiamine and the others you are way too late and will pay for it in Jan and Feb. Once you have a few cool days in a row the winter stuff begins to germinate and it's too late.

I'm on my last day of fall seeding and really want to start my warm season fall pre. It's just really dry here with no rain in the forecast. Have had highs in the mid 70s the last week or so with expected low 80s a couple of days this week.

We've cut back a lot of Bermuda mowing to every 2 weeks.

I'm trying to wait for some rain in hopes of helping the herbicide uptake. Late summer has been dry and sprays were not as effective as I would have liked.

When you say you are concerned about the dry, is this because of customers without irrigation? That is what is keeping me from doing some as well. Very few people around here have irrigation and it makes a successful lawn program almost impossible.
