Why do all the backing on? Load the walk behind forward facing first. Then load the zero turn with the casters "straddling" on both sides of the walk behind. I do this without a problem. If I load the zero turn first, I have to load the walk behind sideways.

You need to check the weight with everything on the trailer. Might be pushing the limit or over on a 3500 lb axle.

It weighs 3460 lbs with full tanks of gas, full gas cans, and anything else I need. You are correct that the weight needs to be checked.
