We were told today that our 289 D will be in around the first of the year....... until then we are running a 299 D that has been a very impressive machine. Our new HM 315 mulcher will be in early next week. Gotta love new toys.

What changes have you seen in them ? Any Pictures ? Not sure if there are just that many orders for them or why mine is being built so late. Not a big deal , I would prefer they get a few of the early kinks out

I haven't seen them in person yet. He is very excited about them though. I've asked him for some photos.

I ran a 289d today, seemed like a great machine. The hi flow units had the double row front and rear idlers, the non hi flow had singles. If i get the machine without hi flow should i upgrade the idlers? Ive heard the tracks come off the singles pretty easy...Cat dealer said they will swap them out on my dime.
