Hooray! Finally a 7-11 near my house is carrying ethanol free fuel. Only going in the handhelds for now so I can just use 5 gal cans. This should let me cut back to annual changes of pipes and lines. That will pay for the slight difference itself. Things are starting easier and tend to idle smoother. Important on gear that has no adjustment screws. How I miss those mixture screws.

I've been using non ethanol fuel in my mowers and trimmers for a couple years now. I was having to rebuild carbs and replace fuel lines, etc every 8-10 months with the ethanol fuel. Since I changed all I have replaced or rebuilt is the fuel tanks that were expanded by the use of ethanol. My truck gets ethanol fuel, but my equipment gets ethanol free gas.

You're right it's not a stream bath. I got 9 accounts done Monday, and so far that's it. I'm actually noticing a few yards slow down, they're not growing nearly as fast anymore.

Super day! Scored 6 Davis Island mini mansions in a row. All 6 had Zoysia installed a month ago. All 6 used same LCO who mowed for first time on Tuesday. Mowed at 2.5" with a 60" Exmark. Scalped the crap out of it. Wasn't a bad install but there's tree and other bumps. I got all 6, will be using the Mclane reel. 300 to 500 each. Lots of landscape too.

Like I said 300 to 500 each. Not a lot of turf. Easily doable with the reel. Keeping the landscape hand trimmed will be easy once I get it caught back up. This was one of the larger LCOs doing these and he does a bunch more out there. These people are very clique' out there, so I stand to gain many more if I continue to im press.
