Pulled the renovated 36" out of storage for use when our snapper went down. It's big brother behind it is developing a hyro problem on one wheel.

I can't tell whether it is hydro pump or wheel motor. I watched an expert use the gagesn and decided not to try. Ends up being a couple hundred dollars to repo both at dealer-with me watching.

At any rate, I used to mow with a 72" grooming mower behind the JD 60Hp tractor and the wife trims around her lawn pretties with her DC 3360 (AKA Fred Flintstone's "flintmobile"). Back in July, the tranny took dump in the JD (warranty problem) and the grass is still growin' so I picked up a 61" V-Ride. After two weeks, it was time to do the first service on the V so I headed over to the dealer for materials. That's when the TT hopped on the trailer and no one could get it off. The cut quality is so much better with the Scag equipment, the tractor and grooming mower are now used in the pasture areas or when four-wheel drive is a must.
Wow, that is one heckuva setup for mowing your own property. You don't mess around.

Along with a *tiny* touch of OCD, I kind of go overboard at times.....

My name is Zach and I have a power equipment addiction!

But damn do those do a nice job on the lawn. Once she got done with the eye-rolling over more tools, the better half is really pleased with how the place looks. As anyone who's married can attest - happy wive equals happy life.

Scag 36 with advantage deck and gator mulchers. Sold my snapper for this. Snapper really doesn't compare to the cut and general feel of the construction of a scag. Loving it.

This is my first scag mower bought new spring of 1996. It was a 48" belt drive walk behind. I was 11 when we bought them.
