What a cool thread. So I see these controllers a lot (some systems are only 10 years old or so) so I didn't know these put out different amperage... So assuming there are not the older wax type valves, can these clocks simply just be replaced with a new controller like a pro c with no issues?

As noted, you're good to go, unless the valves are brass Imperial valves.
