Go with a Scag with a Velocity deck--here's why.....
Exmark Ultracut Series 4 decks leave by far the best cut on turf type grasses, but for the weedy and wiry stuff, the Velocity wins hands down. You can get the best of both worlds by using Gator mulching blades on a Scag. Many LCOs do this down here, and swear by it. You can use standard high lifts on the wiry stuff (with larger clipping lengths), and the Gators on fine turf.
