Rain....lots of rain

Been raining for several days, on and off. We got quite a bit last month and have had about 1 1/2" this month. I have not been able to do any lawns so far this week. Yikes
But, I am definitely not complaining about the rain, as we neeeeeeeeeeeed it badly. I'd rather be behind and busy than have nothing to drink or cook with.

I watched the video of all the rain in your part of the country, however TBH I have had 50" of rain for the year so far here in SW Florida, with out a single Hurricane to help with that rainfall total!.

It's the same here, we had rain all the year throughout summer every week it rained I was so busy that I grossed near as much in July and August as I would normally gross in other years' Spring, then come September... And nothing, it rained once in a month, it put me all sorts of a bind with Core Aeration, I couldn't do anything and then last week, 4 days in a row, since Wednesday and through Sunday... I wasn't sure Monday so I worked on the car and yesterday I was able to knock three out. Today I'm doing the final three aerations and tomorrow I'm back mowing, which... Fortunately it's not growing too much this time of the year so it only takes 7-8 days of straight mowing and I'm caught up... Once that's done I expect it will be time for leaf cleanups.

Which is good, I still need the money, bad.

No good. August was rough as everything was dried up. We were skipping 3-5 regular accounts per week due to it not growing. Them we got some rain and everything has taken off again. My help was out of town last week and I did 24 lawns by myself. I was on track to do about that this week, but idk how much I will get done with the rain. Oh well! I love it. Got more in the forecast for tomorrow

Always nice to pack a pair of waders for your self and floties for your equipment. Take care, stay dry.

So far this year we over 5 "FEET" of rain ( getting ready to break the record set in mid 70's), yes that is correct the wettest city of US and the year isn't over and they're forecasting rain for Thursday in to Friday.
