Its a 4.5 diesel v6. They are decent engines if you are not over working them. The engine is an international

Depends on climate. Ours worked great in the winter but mid80s and up it overheated... Not just mine but all the area here save one. And by overloaded (which is what ford said) we carried a walker mower and a ferris walk behind on ut

I don't have one, but I've heard of problems with the Ford LCF. If your looking for reliability I'd go Isuzu or Mitsu. Both are good trucks with great reliability. Both are available in crew cabs and depending on the models, you can go as high as 19500 GVWR. I own a 07 Isuzu NQR with a 14 foot dump body and love it. It has taken everything I have thrown at it with no problems. I like the the look at the Hino 195, but it's too new to pass judgement on it.
