I had someone on fiverr do this, he advertised "design Elegant Retro Old Fashion Style Logo"

I dont think its retro, or all too elegant...can I get some feedback please? I gather I have a day to review it and tell him if I want a change or two.

To my eyes, the off centered asymmetrical tree makes the entire logo appear asymmetrical even though it is symmetrical.

It almost seems like an optical illusion to me because my mind is telling me that those points on the sides aren't balanced.

Also, the "Lawns & Landscapes" on the bottom is way too thin.

so true! i agree it looks asymmetrical with the eye, as in, if the tree were rotated slightly, it would look better. And its a little off kilter. To me it looks cheap. ($5 cheap)

Just a thought, you might want to start your own "help me with my logo" thread so that this thread doesn't become all about helping Ditta & Sons with their logo redesign.
