Another thing is it has to be new. I'm getting a dump and equipment trailer I got a grant from state for it

I bought it from an individual. But there is a dealer in my town that's got good prices on Horton and I believe he now offers big tex. he also sells hawke and bri mar dump trailers. Google wateree trailer Elgin, sc

What kind of truck is gonna be pulling these trailers?

If you plan on towing heavy and do go with a goose neck then I would go to a dually truck .

I vote gooseneck. I love my 25' deck over. Hopefully soon it will be replaced with a 35' dual tandem.
This load today would have sucked on a bumper pull.

How much does all that lumber weigh? What would suck so much about that on a bumper pull

That lumber isn't that much weight...looks heavier than it is. This didn't suck (really wasn't bad to haul), though it's not that often that the dump (10,500 #'s gross) gets that much weight (almost 11,000 #'s of machine). Only had to go a mile up the road.

Being we an 1hr 1/2 trip to where the wood was going on a crappy black top hwy. a bumper pull would have bounced to death.
I just don't see what the issue is with getting a CDL.

Guys on here waste more time trying to stay under weight or barely getting by with pushing trailers to their max.
