Since all the information they give is 2lbs of herbicide applied to the site and the product is 60 WDG and they want to know how much product to apply they are looking for the AI rate.

"60" means that the product is 60% herbicide (active ingredient or AI) and the rest could be fert or something else, depending on what the product is. So you know you are going to have to apply more than 2lbs of product, 20% more to be exact.

So if you have to apply 2lbs of AI to a given area how much 60 WDG product will you need? You divide the 2lbs by 60% (0.6) and you get 3.33lbs of product.
No big deal I guess I should have said why cause so many people spray without license.

What is the given area amount? acre? 10K? I have no idea without looking at the label, and your giving out advice about how much to put down in a unknown area.....

Doesn't matter. This is why some people don't do well on tests- they tend to over think. All they are asking is if you need to apply 2lbs of AI to an area how much of a 60 WDG product will you need to apply. How many thought that WDG in this question means something?

Depends on where you are I would think. Here it would be crab. Don't have Bermuda or Prickly Sida.
