- I suggest you re-read your application, appears you need 3 persons that you have worked for to sign letters of support. http://sos.georgia.gov/acrobat/PLB/4...pplication.pdf

You need 3 references but only 1 needs to be a low voltage contractor

Letters of support are usually written by employers or the director of apprentices ( if you're union). Since your state licenses all electrical categories it makes little sense that they would not accept a LOS from a license holder that holds a higher license. The way you're talking LV Is licensed to 300vlts. I didn't read that but I was skimming through looking for an answer to your question.

I would hit the former employers up and I wouldn't pay a dime of extortion for the LOS they're assholes if they don't sign one for you. They should be proud to be endorsing a former employee that they helped train.

I've written a bunch in my day.

Best of luck

Thanks for the advice. I'm just trying to do things the right way. We only have one irrigation company in town that has this license. The others just do it with out it. There is zero enforcement on this but I think it's still a must have.

And I thought CA was bad....

For my reference(20 years a go) Since I had always worked for my dad, we had to get other legit c-27 contractors to sign off on that. Lucky for me, not that much of a big deal since even though we were all competition, we were always at the same Basque festivals and lets face it.....an a_ _ hole doesn't get far in a community where everybody know each other as blood family or extended family.
