Wow, that's good to know for next year as that's a pretty big difference. My Stihl Magnum was about $500, and for the Redmax at $580 or so, to be better and stronger; the difference in price is nothing.

amickssuperstore.com has the 8500 for $549.95 free shipping/no tax but they are out right now. Might check with them to see when they will be getting more.

Excuse my French, but Amick's are bullsh@t liars about retail prices. Example: they say the EBZ5150 retails at $399.95 and their price is $329.95. Retails is $319.95. Same with the 7500, thy sell it FOR retail, which they claim is $50 off retail. Lies. I was going to public ally call them out in person at GIE but decided I didn't want escorting out.

I have a EBZ8500RH and a BR600 and I can say that the EBZ8500 does have more power. In my opinion the Redmax is the way to go for leaves but the BR600 is capable of blowing leaves as well but maybe not quite as powerful. On a level of 1-10 on power I'd put the BR600 at a 9 and the Redmax at 10.

newguy123, get the 8500 or 580. The stihl doesn't even blow as hard as the echo 770 or Redmax/Husky 7500/570.
