New guy in Texas.

Just wanted to say hello, and thank you for all the information I"ve been reading from previous posts for the last couple months. I finally decided to join today.

Don't have a business set up yet. I am in the process of writing up a business plan and expenses right now. I'm also in the remain 8 months of my Air Force contract and am looking to go from active duty into the reserves and possible do lawn care full time, or part time with a full time job at a place like Lowes, Tractor Supply, or if I go back home, then Bass Pro or Cabelas. I have loved my time in the military but desperate for a change.

That's about me and my situation in a nut shell. Looking forward to learning more from you guys.

Thanks for your service! I am looking forward to hearing about your progress and how you decide to go about your business. I am looking at just doing some side work for a few years to see if it will make sense to leave my 9-5 gig to pursue this full time.

Thanks you for the welcomes guys. I've been reading here a couple months and defiantly seems to be more nice guys than not so nice, from what I have read.

I also actually noticed there is a guy from my home town, which is a super small town in East TN on here.

I am defiantly going to take my time in my progress. I enjoy being outside and do this type of work, although I am no expert that is for sure. I am also a business/accounting major so I have some concept of business and taxes, and understand the importance of taking my time and making thought out good solid decisions.

I have lots of info, ideas, and numbers down on paper I have absolutely no idea on a business name. But that will come in time I am sure.

I'm an Aerial Porter (2T2). I absolutely love my job, but just need a change, I've tried to move bases but with budget cuts they don't move us around as much any more. I don't know I'd say I'm a brand A or B guy. I know lots are, but it is just the same a Chevy vs Ford so I went Pontiac, lol. I like to go with what words and is yet cost effective. But that is with anything I buy.

Good for you getting out there working at such a young age. I did the same thing when I was your age, but it was just retail work at a mall. I always had two jobs. No better feeling that earning things on your own, a good work ethic work can take you far. Keep it up.
