50 W floodlight

I was wondering if you guys think a 50w low voltage flood would light a wall up pretty well from 18ft out? What is the equivalent wattage on 120 line voltage?

Nothing is going to look good from 18' out. Your 50 watt low voltage spot will be equivalent to around a 75 watt line voltage lamp under the following circumstances. (the beam spreads are equivalent and the low voltage lamp is receiving around 11.5 volts at the fixture).

Since aesthetics don't really seem to be a concern, why not just run line voltage out and burn the wall with a 150 watt metal halide lamp?
