I have built 5 or 6 of these for friends that do pool maintinance and none took over 3 hours to complete.
I have been thinking that there could be an advertizing advantage IF IT were possible to clean the pond without spilling the water.
My curiosity is piqued and i should be able to find some free time this winter to give it a try.
If i covld ask for a link to the vac tadpole was referring to i would research it.
water is a precious and expensive commodity

This vac isn't finished (cleaned up and painted) but it's been used a few times. Works very well and with the right diffuser it may work for cleaning pond rock, or not (I am stubborn but realistic)

Btw. I have a grand total of $30.00 in this unit. All parts were leftovers from jobs or throw aways I got from friends that knew what I was up to.

Still at it my friend. If I do come up with something useful to you pond specialists, you'll be the first to know.
