I would not trust Bee Safe.

Paul Tukey has a very easy to read book out. Paul Sachs has several books, Jeff Lewenfels "Teaming w/ microbes"

Check out NOFA.

Search on this site.

Those are good books to start with.

Unfortunately I am not aware of any training programs for warm season turf.
For cool season turf these are some good courses:

From what I have heard. Their stuff is untested and ineffective resulting in poor results.

"Low analysis. More needs to be applied compared to standard nitrogen rates. Takes several weeks to see a response. Response may be poor. Soil temps must be between 55 - 60 for results. May be an odor."

source: O.M. Scotts & Sons Company

You won't find this info anymore on the Scotts website because of 2 things....

Scotts began selling natural organic fertilizers
Scotts Lawn Care came into existence shortly after

But good old me -- I still have hard copies of what Scotts originally had on their OM Scotts website. lmao

Bottom line IMO = "follow the money".

Barry will be happy to talk with you...you don't get college credit...but you will learn a lot.
It might be a good idea to start with a "bridge" program.
Be sure you understand the limitations of weed control with organic products.
Start early, before the dealers get really busy. Plan ahead.
Read a few(hundred) posts in the Organic section of Lawnsite.
Get a book or two on soils, soil microbiology and mineral cycles.

I trust Barry 100% (been buying quality products from him for years). But I do not trust Scotts for many reasons. Scotts is a sales organization imo. (follow the money)
