Locqus provides digital time clocks and free geo-location through the managers smartphone. We are also working on the ODII device that plugs directly into the truck for about $15/month as well. That should be out in Summer of this year! Also handle invoicing and CC processing.

Yea, phone accuracy can be wonky at times. We have cases where its a weird network or phone issue and the GPS is over 1000' off like you mentioned. Has us scratching our heads on the software end. Even the Verizon guys have a problem with it. A dedicated unit for GPS like the OBD readers we rolled out are solid though, within 5 meters.

I think its usually just a dedicated device problem. Phones are 95% phone stuffs and 5% GPS stuffs etc.
