New Dye User

This will be the first year for our company to use the dye when applying pre emergent applications. We will be using the high concentrate Lesco Tracker dye, which so far doesnt seem to pricey or look to bad.... Only issue is we are using the Lesco spray gun (green gun with yellow 2 gallon/minute tip) and its near impossible to make sure you hit the vulnerable edge of the turf without dying the sidewalk while your at it. I realize it washes off easy but i hate the look of a sloppy spray job.

Any advice from applicators with dye experience?

Different technique, gun, nozzle or is it just something that comes with using the dye?
