A hook lift is a great option if you are lifting heavy loads on a regular basis. The downside of a hook lift is that they are more expensive and have a very steep load angle. The switch-n-go allows for a much shallower load angle which is great for loaded beds like a landscaper body or flat bed with equipment on it.

The body would rest on the front legs and the rear step bumper. Most of the Van bodies that I have seen them do don't have a rear step bumper. they just mount the van box on their sub-frame and the bumper is mounted on the truck.

My landscape body has a dove tail with rollers and legs on the front corners to level it out. The Vanscaper style bodies are done in a similar fashion. It all works well but you must also consider what is mounted on your truck's frame such as the fuel tanks, under body boxes, and such so that everything has proper clearance.
Can you please post a picture of your Landscape body?

For some reason this forum never accepts my upload. You can see that the pics aren't too big....I just have be missing something.
