What a cluster F%^$ of pipes. In New York, this is another $1,000,000 in Union contracts for repairs.

Did you have an idea of what is all under those streets and how old some of it is? It's actually really cool if you like old steam stuff like me. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_City_steam_system

I remember when that steam pipe in NYC let go. It was only 18" or 24". The aftermath looked like a bomb had gone off.

Hell in Boston some of the pipes are so old they are made out of wood.

Yes he has, I heard he used lead pipes at his place. Now you two get back in the political corner where you came from.

Sorry Duke, I was thinking of well I don't know who. I am way guilty of getting my kicks in that corner too, but I don't wanna live there like Al inc.

Well, this'll sure get the job done if you can find a fence post to rest it on while you take aim. Always loved that one.

I've seen a few lead-pipe service feeds. Measure the flow through an old threaded pipe feed, and get a number way off the charts for galvanized steel, whereupon it becomes evident that you're looking at lead pipe.
