That's done progressively too. So if someone gets 9 yards
2 @ 95
2@85
4@75
1@ 70
Total 730.

I does sometimes come in lower for example a really easy spread.

Ok thanks, makes sense. I've done the same. 1 @ $129 is my standard. People can order it in 1 yard bags for $119 so I figure for $10 more I'll install it.

We get 65 installed here. I pay $19 But we do a lot of volume. 9 bags equals one yard = $27 a yard average. Where do you pay 118 for a yard of mulch?

Jesus Canada is expensive. We don't have 1 yard bags. Only 3 cu ft bags. Or bulk.

One month earlier is not going to make any difference. The whole reason for using dyed mulch is because it holds it's color longer.

On our large accounts, our contracts stipulate mulching from February through March. It's done this way for several reasons - you get a better mulch install around plants that are deciduous and you get a nice layer over all perennial beds. Still more reasons are because late March and April are jam packed with new work like plant install jobs, new mulch jobs, and of course, the contract mowings begin. Not to mention, it provides work over the winter months.
