fx1000 Fuel Consumption

I would like to know what you guys are seeing in GPH (Gallons Per Hour) out of your Kawasaki 34HP FX1000 (Previously 37HP under old rating system). Thanks!

Hopefully more than one member on here owns a mower with the FX1000. Any other numbers out there?

I own one right now on a 970a and I had the DFI version on a ferris and they are both around the 2.0 GPH mark... But they will cut some grass and have plenty if power.

puppypaws says his gets about 1.8-2 gph. He has a 72". Mickhippy has a 60" deck and I believe that when you convert his metric fuel usage into gph, he is right around that point too.

My FX1000V is a 35 hp engine running a 72" Hustler Super Z, it will burn in the 1.8 gph range in extremely light cutting; up to 2.0 gph in medium heavy cutting. I have all ideas if you put it into an extremely heavy cutting situation (keeping the engine loaded 75% of the time) you could pull over 2 gph through the engine. I personally would not run into that type cutting.
