I think the way to do things is to save as much money as possible so that plowing money is just extra.

Yeah I'm certain actually, even with slow winters they double their profits. As I mentioned both of my previous employers have said they mowed lawns to begin the business but now they just do it to keep their employees busy year round.

A 4 wheel drive truck, plow, and salt spreader. Oh yeah....customers. You could sub-contract til you get your own customers, though.

The truck could also be the same truck you use for hauling around your mowing trailer.
