anybody know anything about Diamond cargo

Does any body know anything about them?
From what I have read on their site they sound well built. And their warranty is good as well 5 yrs.
So any thoughts.

I'm at the plant frequently, they are good people. They have grown substantially the last couple years. I could probably watch it get built for a small fee.

What size trailer are you looking at? I have an 8.5x20 Diamond Cargo that I bought used last year, but it was practically brand new. Got it for a reasonable price compared to new. Seems like for the size of trailer it should have some heavier tires on it and maybe a heavier axle, as it has 3500 lb axles under it. I use it mainly for spray and fertilization. Seems ok. Most enclosed trailers seem to be built very low $ in order to compete in the market. I think you get what you pay for.

I'm looking at a 8.5x 16 v nose. I was comparing their specs to wells cargo I was quoted 8700 and haulmark quoted 7600, they seem equal to wells and better then haulmark if you upgrade the exterior skin and get LEDs comes in at 5300.
Materials is one thing, I'm interested in the build quality.

I own one. Very happy with it. One negative. They come with extremely cheap tires on there. The tires they come with lasted me maybe 3 months and looked liked Nascar tires. They were showing extreme wear in 4 weeks. Got me some good tires put on and have had them for 12 months with no wear showing.

I agree. I blew a tire less than 2 months from purchase. I have checked the tires often and noticed they are wearing very quickly and uneven. I am planning to put new tires on the trailer this year. It will be much better grade tires. I would like to have led lights but that will be on the next trailer.

If I could go back in time. As soon as I bought the trailer, I would have taken all 4 tires off and went and got some good ones. I would put the factory tires back on when I sold it. I keep cargos about 2 years.

So tires were the only negative other the that and the axle upgrade to 5200 you feel as thou it is structurally sound I.e no floors falling apart, the doors open and close like you'd expect, no pieces falling off?
Thanks for your help guys
