Hello from Buhler, KS

Hello, hello!

New to the site and like what I see! Learned a little here and there. Was in mainly the lawn care industry for my first job and did that for 4 years until I left for college. Have been working at golf courses for the past 6 years and tired of working for 10 dollars an hour. I am not going to completely jump off the cliff right away as I only have one walk behind, weed eater, edger, back pack blower, and trailer. I plan to get about 10 clients this mowing season and manage a full time job at the golf course. Hopefully I can save up some money to invest in my business and build my clientele. I hope to transition out of my golf course job with 20-25 clients a keep building!

Input welcome!
Thanks!

Welcome from Fort Worth, Texas.

The logo you posted looks childish and unprofessional.

The logo is my first draft haha and I did do it myself on paint I agree that it's a little childish but I do want to keep it simple and fun. I'll keep working on it thanks for the input!

Get your logo professionally designed. Your logo is part of your image.

Search this site…this topic comes up often and some other members have posted links to places to get professionally designed logos that are very inexpensive…even as low as $5.

No pun intended but when you are starting out: image is everything!

I didn't think your logo idea was that bad but yeah, it does remind me of cartoons my toddler nephew watches.

Online graphics designers can do a great job for ridiculously low price.
I've never seen one of the $5 so far but man, that's worth a look!

Welcome to the site, I'm just up the road from you in Salina.

You don't need a logo or an image if you are just starting out. Just sell some work do a nice job and go from there. Get some cash coming in and worry about your image later. Do what you say you are going to do and you will be ahead of most of your competitors.

If you must have a logo go with the one you have, its not that bad. Your work and reputation mean so much more than your logo especially in a small town like Buhler.

Get out there, work hard, get dirty and wear that equipment out!

Best of luck to you.

Thanks a lot for the words of encouragement! I am a very hard worker and very excited to build a name for my company!
