I don't know anything about AL, but in texas you must have a notorized DBA and a EIN before you can apply for a business loan. It being your first business I would imagine the interest rate would be pretty high, but you got to start somewhere right? If you make good on time payments you'll have good business credit and probably be able to re-finance in the future.
