I found my 131 is very handy

Since having it I don't have to climb a lot of trees that I cut down
I can piece it out from the ground
I did 3 ash trees that was 45ft tall 24''-30'' dia. No room to fall them and was to thick to climb them. (someone top them few years back was the thickest Ash trees I seen)
Pole saw works wonders saves time on some trees

At the farm made a Bucket for a tractor loader I can stand in and trim limbs that sticks over the lanes to the fields
I have on plans a Boom bucket for my skid

Pole Saw Questions

I like our stihl 131 for take downs. For general pruning though it's all hand saws. You get a cleaner cut and less risk of damaging the tree with the hand saw.
