Sweeping Lots

This year started to offer Lot sweeping more where the snow piles was at.

Not really the whole lot
In my town only one guy has a Lot sweeper Truck type

So far I have done 20 lots some was my own lots I plow snow on but some was on other guys lots I made about 4500 so far

I'm doing good making my hourly rate + little more
I keep getting them so its got me thinking maybe I'm pricing to cheap
Mine is a one visit price. I do know the other guy selling year contacts
and that might be the reason
Renting a Broom Bucket for my skid just wish it had the curb broom. I have one guy walking ahead of me with a blower

My question is, What do most guys charge to sweep a lot ? you can send me a PM.

If I can push more of this type of work for next spring I may just buy me a sweeper with a curb broom

I got the opposite. Here I get to pull gravel back off the lawns and replace sod clumps that got plowed up. Sucks, I hate the work. Thanks for telling me I'm way-way-way under pricing this type of work.

Well Some places I do that pulling gravel out of the grass with broom bucket works great even sod clumps never had any on my lots but on other guy lots.
the broom sweeps them right up

I use to hate it till I ran a broom bucket

I think I might be under pricing to comapre to a normly lot sweeper company wont be first time someone calls me a lowballer

That was likely me, sorry. I don't look at who I am talking to most of the time- I just let the trash come out. Then a day later I totally learn something from the person I trashed earlier. I try to not call names because those remarks don't move us ahead and usually mine get removed. Sometimes I'm 35 going on 13and all in good fun doesn't always read that way online.

Seems to cheap to me . I don't know the size of your lots but I would hope after doing 20 of them that you had a brand new broom pretty much paid for ...

That what I gross not net
I rented the broom bucket used it for 2 days that was 400
15 hrs on skid with me in it and 15 hrs on one guy with a blower

This 30 total hrs from the shop to each job then back to the shop

Rough figure I net 1000 give or take

Then I sold the load to a guy for $75 bucks. That was funny part guy came up to me ask me what I was going do with all that. I told him spread out it on my gravel lot. The he said he give me $75 for it I said sold about 5 ton I had a mix of chat dirt and 1'' gravel I was really going use it as a ditch filler.
