The south hills systems are wreck for sure. In reality so are the Sandburg systems. Since I took over at Sandburg I combined and consolidated a few of the systems. We went from 5 controllers to 3 and are much more user friendly. I have added, deleted, moved or adjusted pretty much every sprinkler on the entire level. I have dug more holes, fixed more damaged and leaking line that I ever thought possible, lol. Despite being a volunteer myself and a few other dads have really put in the effort to get the systems operating well.

With our purchase of a new exmark, doing the tractor maintenace and sprinkler maintenance and upgrades ourselves I only hope that when I finish there in a few years I will leave the league in a good position with the fields and machinery. The years and of neglect and poorly managed turf practices will hopefully be a thing of the past.
