To funny! No it was real hard for those guys to say " yes ma'am we can take care of it " make a phone call and send us a photo and see where our numbers are .
The office does the estimate and sends it to the crew and the client is happy in 5 minutes.

Real hard. And no it won't be the mowing crews doing the install, nice though.

I find it very odd that the owner of a 100m company does field work, yeah. I would think your time would be better spent managing it rather than running a trimmer.
75 trucks, most of which just cut grass , I have to laugh at your assumptions of big millions
I have posted it here and other sites we work on 1/3 rule
We base our rates to cover that
1/3 is profit/ business
1/3 is labor
1/3 is business expenses

So simple math
If she got 2.4 million that would mean?? 7.2 million
now ..... If it was a 50/50 split that would mean 14.3 million gross...... Nowhere near 100 million

Now if I said it was another $100,000 per man or 200'000.00 a crew it get smaller sounding.

It would be better off ring managed and as we were setup
It was not posible to manage it as one person.
Each location managed their own accounts and we managed the new accounts comming in.

Do you not consider it managing when a crew comes in and does 100 percent of the items listed for a new account before the maintenance crew comes in ?
I mean it insures the maintenance crew " this is exactly what it is to look like" or they keep working.

Each location has a designated clean up crew for this work.

I simply like to jump from crew to crew and work with the guys on the crews. When they are mowing if it's the right areas I will be talking to new clients, placing flyers ect through out the day as well.

I pay people to market for me do my efforts are small .

Ok so I have got our new numbers so now it is time to start over.
27 trucks
19 mowing
2 landscape install
2 chemical
3 fertilize
1 tree
67 men total
1877 maintenance accounts and 700 additional fall clients.

I have a feeling I will be needing 4-5 more trucks to be able to split crews when playing catch up, time will tell.
I think the weed control is in trouble.

Someone said took to the cleaners,
It appears I am low in support trucks ....

I got my eye on 2 trucks for weed control.
$3500.00 each with service beds and 200-350 gallon
Poly tanks and pumps and reels.

A pest control company went out of business last week and they have them outside their building.

In just over 12 months?

I find it highly suspicious as you seem to just make everything you post up as you go? Whats the story here?
