run it till it breaks!

saw this on an excavator on a jobsite yesterday, it was ragged out but good lord is it that hard to replace a frozen roller?

I can't believe how many guys neglect their equipment. I was working on a job a while back while another guy was working with his dozer and he was missing the roller completly. The track was sagging bad and ready to come off. Then I saw him a month later still wasn't fixed!

Those upper rollers are cheap anyways, bad quality from China. We have no uppers on the 305 and my dad bought 3 uppers for the price of 2 for his ZX27 and all 3 fell apart at the dealer's parts desk.
Just spend some money and do a bottom roller conversion for the top.
The amount of energy necessary to refute bullsh*t is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it
