Thanks. It was fert only so it wasn't that difficult.

80 bags is 4000 lbs old timer.

Yeah agree when you are pitching fert and pre with no liquid herbicide app, things go MUCH faster.
Same goes with winterizer app. Both $$ makers.

I threw 20 bags today and thought I was doing good with a PG. For a small fish Op like I have

My guys are spreading a pallet a day typically. They know not to come back till either their route is done or the pre-m runs out. We're going to do a 25 acre church next week. Will will have 3 T's out there. I figure it'll take 3-4 hours to fert and spray.

20 a day is average for me in summer on resis when I am running less N and a higher formulation, slow release.

Some of my commercials can eat through the tonnage though. This is the first time since I can remember that I got round 1 done without using broadleaf weed control....Loved every bag I could spread without turning on the pump.

I start round two on Tuesday and start with folks that didn't get one....country lawns and what nots.....but weeds are yet to fully splode.

I suspect at least in my area weeds will creep in and may be bothersome btween rounds 2-3 as a result because of the cold weather.

By comparison what I did here is a 24 acre condo complex in six hours by myself on a ZMax. Full coverage 1lb of N.

Back in the day it would have taken five one thousand gallon tankers and five guys all almost all day to spray by hand.

Love the new technology.

2 pallets of pre on 33 yards. WORE OUT!. that's a lot of bags getting cut and dumped. Love catchup when the rains put you behind.

That's a lot of bags I have done 22 acres of fert in a day but that was 30-0-6 a lot less bags. I am surprised no one beat you up for putting down a
lbs of N in the spring. Or are you in the south were it's summer already.

Client requested better color and "Lusher" grass. I normally don't apply 1 lb of N or better at this time but do have to apply at least 8/10ths of a pound if you want to hit the crabgrass label rate for pre emerge combos....with what I use anyhow.
