So. Much. Rain!

How do all you guys deal with rain completely destroying your schedule? We have SO MUCH work to do and it's going to be July before we finish our SPRING cleanups! Feels like we're doing something wrong or the hard way, but we're not sure what to change. We're not new to the business, but we feel like we're drowning this year. Constructive suggestions? Thanks!

Maybe sub out some of the spring cleanups if people are getting upset? Hire on an extra 2 guys to just do the spring cleanups with the understanding that it's just going to be a 1 month job for them?

Well, that stinks. Work on Sundays? That's kind of tacky, though.

Super grateful to have all the work! For sure! I guess I'm looking to see if other people are behind, too, and what they tell their clients. I can tell when I drive around what properties are professionally maintained, and Most of them seem to be just as behind as us.....

There is no stigma of working on Sunday's any more. At least not around here. This isn't a bible belt. It shows you are successful and very busy.

i tell my clients i can come out and do it an make a mess of your yard or we wait for a somewhat decent day and then come out. most of mine are understanding and with the mowing end we cut everything shorter then usual, just in case somethin like this would happen.

I disagree. I'm not even a religious guy, either.

It's tacky and fairly disrespectful. It's supposed to be a day of rest....religious or not.
